ACCA members are continuing their mildly optimistic outlook on business
prospects, according to the group’s latest survey.
The January Contractor Comfort Index is 56, up three points from December
and the same as in February 2010.
The index is comprised of the results of survey questions given to Air
Conditioning Contractors of America members, who are asked how they feel about
business prospects in the near term. Any number about 50 indicates most
contractors feel positive about the industry’s future. Higher numbers show stronger
positive feelings.
The next month index will be released at the end of this month.
