Fortune
500 contracting company Emcor has received a Chairman’s Safety Award from
commercial insurance provider CNA.
This
is the second time Emcor Group Inc. has received the award, which recognizes
risk and waste reduction, and injury avoidance.
"CNA

its track record of continued improvement in reducing accidents," said Bob
Lindemann, president and chief operating officer at CNA’s commercial division.
"Safety is paramount to employee well-being, productivity and business
continuity. Emcor’s record of excellence is a clear reflection of
its focus on continuous improvement in risk control.”
Emcor President and CEO Tony Guzzi thanked the insurance company for the award.
“We’re honored CNA recognizes Emcor as a leader in safety, a
strategic imperative for Emcor and a cornerstone of our corporate culture,”
Guzzi said. “It was also a pleasure to single out Emcor’s subsidiaries that are
most effectively rising to that challenge. Zero accidents will continue to be
