Officials from Emerson Climate
Technologies were among those presenting papers at Perdue University’s 2012
conferences.
Ten Emerson employees took part in
the conference hosted by the university’s mechanical engineering school July
16-19. More than 600 international attendees discussed high-performing
buildings, refrigeration and compressors.
“The biennial Purdue conferences are important forums for
presenting compressor, refrigeration and air conditioning research results and
technology,” said Rajan Rajendran, Ph.D., vice president of engineering services
and sustainability at Emerson Climate Technologies. “Emerson is proud to be a
longtime supporter of this event, and I enjoyed discussing the important issues
of compressor technology, new refrigerants and energy-efficient building
technologies with global engineers and researchers.”
