The commercial HVAC market through 2014 should continue growing, an industry expert from JPMorgan Chase & Co. recently told HARDI members.
Analyst Stephen Tusa hosted an online seminar March 27 sponsored by the Heating, Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Distributors International. Tusa, who has spoken at several of the association’s events, said he expects growth will be slow but steady.
The U.S. remains more economically healthy than much of the rest of the world, Tusa said, adding that he does not expect a recession anytime soon. Residential HVAC construction will likely continue to show some growth, although public sector construction remains weak.
Tusa said he expects prices for R-22 refrigerant will continue to increase.
