Titus HVAC has added solar power capabilities to its displacement ventilation system line.

The company’s solar Plexicon now uses a wireless process to capture sun energy to power the unit. It is the only such device to heat and cool while using solar energy, company officials say.

“The benefits of the Plexicon line are felt throughout the entire building process,” said James Gray, product manager at Titus HVAC. “When you factor in the new energy efficient, energy harvesting capabilities, the solar Plexicon becomes the most ultra-efficient and occupant friendly displacement diffuser on the market.”
