HVAC maker Lennox said it was adding variable-refrigerant flow technology to its lineup next year.
The technology, already widely used in Europe and Asia, is expected to have double-digit growth in North America in the next five years, officials said.
“We are excited to be able to serve the North American Commercial HVAC market through continued expansion of our product offering,” said Terry Johnston, president of Lennox Industries’ North America commercial heating and cooling division. “The addition of VRF systems to Lennox’ leadership rooftop product lineup enables Lennox to not only leverage strong engineering and technical support infrastructures, but also Lennox’ unique direct to contractor relationship and strength in national accounts.”
