ACCA members are starting 2014 feeling very confident about HVAC market prospects for the year.

The findings come from the Air Conditioning Contractors of America’s January Contractor Comfort Index.

For the month, the index is 69 on a 100-point scale. Last month, it stood at 67.  The number represents the surveyed short-term business outlook of member companies.  Members are asked about business prospects, activity and staffing decisions. A number over 50 represents positive feelings on the economy.

A year ago, the index was at 60.  The next CCI will be released at the end of this month.
