HVAC company Trane is scheduled to welcome Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback to the company’s Midwest Training Center for Climate and Energy Control Technologies Feb. 20.
The governor will appear at the HVAC construction school’s open house, where new students will take part in a letter-of-intent signing ceremony.
The center was created in partnership with Washburn Tech, the National Coalition of Certification Centers and Ingersoll-Rand’s Trane to provided updated HVAC training labs and educational materials to meet the industry’s future needs, officials said.
