Lennox now offers HVAC construction rooftop units in its Energence line that it says are the most energy efficient, lightest and quietest in its class.
The units have an integrated energy-efficiency ratio up to 21.5 and up to a 13.9 energy-efficiency ratio. They exceed the requirements of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers’ standard 90.1 by 92 percent, according to Lennox. They also meet California’s Title 24 energy requirements.
Cindy Sparrow, vice president of product management and marketing, said most customers will be very happy with the new units.
“One of the attributes that our customers have come to expect from Lennox is cutting-edge innovation, and with our new Energence ultra-high-efficiency units we’ve achieved a new pinnacle in innovation,” Sparrow said. “Our customer feedback plays a significant role in the development of our products and these new units were designed to meet not only our customer’s most requested benefits, but industry leading results in the areas of energy efficiency, sound and weight, for comparable competitive units.”
