ACCA members remain pretty bullish about their HVAC sales prospects this summer.

The HVAC market group’s just-released Contractor Comfort Index for July stands at 76 on a 100-point scale. The figure is five points lower than June but five points higher than a year ago.

The index is compiled from a survey of Air Conditioning Contractors of America members whom are asked about HVAC construction business trends.

A figure above 50 says a majority feel confident about the economy and business activity.

The next index will be released at the end of August.
