Attendees of this week’s Greenbuild will have a chance to get a preview of HVAC construction products maker CertainTeed’s new headquarters.
The company, whose products include green HVAC insulation and other items involved in ductwork fabrication, is overhauling its 320,000-square-foot facility in Malvern, Pa., to a gold-level structure under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design building program.
“No other company in the world has the breadth of products, systems, R&D (research and development) and building science expertise to build a sustainable headquarters that can have a truly material impact on energy use, air quality, day lighting and sound,” said John Crowe, president and CEO of CertainTeed and parent company Saint-Gobain.
The plans will be on display at CertainTeed Corp’s booth, No. 1413, during Greenbuild, which takes place tomorrow through Thursday at Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.
