HVAC construction software manufacturer Dexter & Chaney will be demonstrating its Field Tech mobile application at next month’s AHR Expo.

Field Tech allows HVAC market technicians and other HVAC sales staff to remotely access, create and update work orders. On a tablet computer, technicians can access the Field Tech app on Spectrum’s “dashboard” and view work orders or jobs. All of Field Tech’s functions work with Dexter & Chaney’s Spectrum software.

“Our Field Tech app provides service contractors with a simple, yet powerful tool to streamline their work in the field,” said Dexter & Chaney’s co-founder and CEO John Chaney. “We wanted to give technicians something that was easy to use, with complete access to the data they need. Field Tech takes the paperwork out of the traditional work order process. All information is digital and connected to a company’s Spectrum software in real time. With Field Tech there is no need wait for work orders to arrive back at the office and no need to manually re-enter the information.” 

The AHR Expo will take place Jan. 26-28, 2015, at McCormick Place convention center in Chicago.
