This year’s ISH event was success, organizers said, with a record 198,000 visitors and 2.8 million square feet of exhibit space.
With 2,465 manufacturers displaying their products, the March 10-14 HVAC market and plumbing trade show in Frankfurt, Germany, attracted attendees from throughout Europe and Asia.
“We are delighted with the exceptional success of ISH 2015 and these excellent figures underscores the positive mood in the sector,” said Wolfgang Marzin, president and chief executive officer of show organizer Messe Frankfurt GmbH. “Moreover, with growth in the number of international exhibitors and visitors, the fair has confirmed its leading international role.”
Especially large numbers of visitors came from France, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany and China. Growing in representation were attendees from the U.S., England and Ireland, officials added.
“ISH is traditionally the first event of the year at which the entire sanitation, heating and air-conditioning sector comes together to launch its latest products,” Marzin said. “It is unrivalled in terms of product variety and the world’s biggest show of its kind. Accordingly, we are delighted with the further increase in the number of visitors from outside Germany, which confirms the great internationality of the fair.”
