The Mechanical Contractors Association of Chicago is bringing an expert on steam and hydronic HVAC construction systems to speak to members this month.

The association’s Construction Education Institute has booked Dan Holohan to present two seminars April 22-23 at the Sheet Metal Workers Local 597 training center in Mokena, Ill.

The sessions, “Hydronic Night School” and “Dead Men Steam School,” will cover the history of the steam HVAC market and its current use.

Dan Bulley, the MCA Chicago’s senior vice president, said Holohan plans to retire next year and urged members to see him now.

“Dan is that rare breed that combines practical experience with a passion for knowledge,” Bulley said. “As a returning lecturer, he has become a mainstay here at the CEI. His classes are always lively and engaging, and above all else, informative. I speak on behalf of MCA Chicago, CEI and its staff, when I say that his presence here will be missed dearly.”
