The head of a franchise group that includes an HVAC market contracting brand will speak at an April 21 conference in Las Vegas.

Mike Bidwell, president and chief executive officer of the Dwyer Group, is scheduled to appear as part of a panel during the Franchise Times Dealmakers Awards, which is part of the Franchise Finance & Growth Conference.

The awards recognize some of the fastest growing franchises in the U.S.

The Dwyer Group’s eight brands include HVAC construction company AirServ, Glass Doctor, the Grounds Guys, Mr. Appliance, Mr. Electric, Mr. Rooter and Five Star Painting and Rainbow International.

In August 2014, the Dwyer Group was purchased by private equity firm the Riverside Co.

“Last year was an incredible time of change and growth throughout The Dwyer Group,” said Bidwell, a key player in the transactions who is featured in the April issue of Franchise Times magazine.
