Energy management company Distech Controls is embarking on an educational tour aimed at the HVAC market.
“Connecting for the Internet of Things Building” will include half-day educational sessions, along with networking events for owners, architects and HVAC construction engineers.
“The Internet of Things Building not only connects a buildings’ systems and services, it lets occupants interact and connect with their environment in new ways to create a more personalized working space that helps them perform and operate more efficiently,” said Jeff Quinlan of Acuity Brands, one of the event’s sponsors.
The first event is to take place Sept. 15 in Toronto. Other locations include Chicago, Washington, Boston, New York, San Francisco and Atlanta.
