ACCA members remain bullish on business prospects as the busy fall HVAC sales season gets under way.

For October, the Air Conditioning Contractors of America’s Contractor Comfort Index is 80 on a 100-point scale. The number is five points higher than last month and eight points above the same a year ago. 

The index represents the surveyed short-term HVAC market outlook of member companies. A number over 50 represents positive feelings on the HVAC construction economy. 

The next index will be released near the end of November.
