Two supporters of the Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Contractors National Educational Foundation have been named to the organization’s board of governors.
The PHCC named Steven Schaefer and Isabella Schaefer to the group’s board of governors.

“Steve and his company have earned the reputation for bringing value and reliability to every one of their jobs,” said Roger Peugeot, chairman of the PHCC’s educational foundation. “With this investment in our educational foundation, he’s ensuring that we can secure those same qualities in the future of our industry.”
Schaefer is president of Schaefer Mechanical Services in Westminster, Maryland, which provides plumbing and HVAC construction services for residential and commercial customers. He has worked in the plumbing profession since 1973.

“Over the years, Steve has influenced countless professionals with his generous contributions of time, talent and financial support,” Peugeot said. “Now, as a member of the board of governors, he’s also helping to secure crucial industry education for generations to come.”

A PHCC member since 1995, he has served at the national level as a zone director on the board of directors, a member of PHCC’s Energy and Water Conservation committee and as trade show chairman, board member and president.
