Mercury-reclaiming organization Thermostat Recycling Corp. has added four Spanish language pages to its website.

The pages are designed to educate those whose primary language is Spanish about the HVAC market group’s program, how to safely ship mercury-containing thermostats and other common questions. It also includes a downloadable poster.

“The Spanish-language webpages enable TRC to interact with a larger audience to inform and encourage direct participation in the national recycling program,” said Ryan Kiscaden, the corporation’s executive director. “We have received feedback from HVAC wholesale distributors that Spanish-language materials would be useful to their customers, and we look forward to increasing engagement and participation from the Spanish-speaking community.”
