Emerson Climate Technologies Inc., a business segment of Emerson, has updated its trademarked Emerson e-Saver residential mobile app, which helps contractors calculate cost savings for homeowners by comparing HVAC system replacement options.

The update includes an auto-locate feature that selects the closest city based on geographic location, so the contractor no longer has to manually select a location. Once the job details are entered, the app offers up to three replacement options.

Energy and fuel prices are also automatically updated based on geographic location, which helps provide a more accurate cost-savings report for residential contractors to present to homeowners.
