Armistead Mechanical Inc. is expanding into an additional 10,000-square-foot industrial space across from its headquarters on Hopper Avenue in Waldwick, New Jersey.

The new space will primarily be used by the company’s service arm, Armistead Mechanical Inc. Services, which offers HVAC construction service and maintenance work for industrial and commercial clients throughout New Jersey and New York.

“We are pleased to be able to expand so close to home,” said Kevin Armistead, chief operating officer at Armistead Mechanical. “Armistead Mechanical’s growth is evidence that we continue to provide the highest level of skill in the installation and service of process piping and mechanical systems, HVAC, utility piping, lab and medical gases and high-purity orbital welding.”

The property includes 3,500 square feet of office space, plus a tailgate and drive-in loading dock. The company has plans down the road to retrofit and expand its existing pipe fabrication shop as well as updating the office environment at its Hopper Avenue facility.
