Bosch Thermotechnology Corp. has donated a variety of HVAC systems, including a 4-ton SM split system unit, a 2-ton BP package vertical unit and a 4-ton SM package vertical unit, to Atlantic Technical College and Technical High School in Coconut Creek, Florida.
Bosch employees Adrian Smith and Brett Climan met with students and certified master HVACR instructor Brian Youngblood, who helps run the HVAC classes at the high school, where they toured the technical classroom and lab. Bosch staff also answered questions from the students and discussed the HVAC industry.
“It was very obvious that these students are eager to learn and gain hands-on experience,” said Smith, a technical service associate at Bosch. “This opportunity allowed us to introduce the units and provide technical support as well as engage with young professionals and give back to the community.”
In September 2016, Bosch donated a 5-ton inverter ducted split system condensing unit and air handler to the school’s HVAC laboratory.
“We’re very grateful to Bosch for partnering with us and providing their equipment, so we can share the newest technology with our students,” Youngblood said.
