The National Air Duct Cleaners Association has handed out its 2017 Safety Awards to contractors who have shown a commitment to employee, customer and community safety over the past year.
The awards were presented during NADCA’s 29th annual meeting and exposition, March 19-21 in Palm Springs, California.
“NADCA members are committed to adhering to the highest standards, while keeping safety as a top priority,” said Kristy Cohen, NADCA’s executive director. “The Safety Awards recognize those companies who have gone above and beyond this commitment, ensuring safety for their employees and customers.”
Criteria for the association’s awards are based on regulations and recommendations from the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Recipients of the Outstanding Safety Awards are companies that have been recognized with the Safety Award for at least three consecutive years.
“NADCA members adhere to ACR (Assessment, Cleaning and Restoration), the NADCA standard, and safety is a top priority for them,” Cohen said. “When looking for a contractor, we recommend that consumers always reference the NADCA website to locate a member company in their region.”
A total of 25 contractors were recognized with Safety Awards, while 30 contractors were recognized with Outstanding Safety Awards. For a complete list of winners, click here.
