For this year’s scorching hot Summer Olympics in Japan, thousands of athletes gathered from around the world in a display of sporting brilliance. The U.S. Olympic Committee decided to get ahead of the humid weather in Japan and ensure swimmers had the best conditions for training. 

Glacier Pool Coolers’ GPC280 Model was used in the U.S. National Team’s 50-meter private pool facility where the Team USA’s Olympic and Paralympic swim teams practiced between events. This pool chiller, which was designed for pools with up to 450,000 gallons of water, was made to combat extreme summer heat.
