The Metal Construction Association (MCA) has announced industry veteran Ken McLauchlan has been appointed as a director on the board. McLauchlan, who is vice president of architectural sales at Metal Forming, LLC in Peachtree, Georgia, was appointed to fill a vacancy. His term will expire in 2026 at which time he will be eligible for reelection.
McLauchlan has been involved in the metal construction industry for 32 years. McLauchlan is recognized by many in the industry as an expert in the portable roll forming industry and applications. He has served in an array of capacities including installation, dealer support estimating, project management, operations, and on the manufacturer side of the industry.
“When this role became available, we immediately thought of Ken. His wealth of industry knowledge and genuine passion for the metal construction industry made him the obvious choice. We are thrilled he has agreed to serve on the board and look forward to the insights and ideas he brings to the table,” says Brian Partyka, Chairman.
McLauchlan says, “I am excited about the opportunity and being part of the industry from a different side of the business and look forward to being a contributing member of the board and team.”
