WALLER, Texas — AirReps, a subsidiary of Daikin Comfort Technologies North America Inc., has acquired the operations and employees of two companies in the Seattle area: Integrated Systems and Controls and InControl.
Integrated Systems is nationally recognized for its OEM startup and warranty support services, and addresses challenging sites and situations relative to complex equipment and applications.
InControl represents many controls and energy-management products, including control monitoring and metering. The addition of InControl’s products and controls support compliments Daikin’s continued technology development, according to a company press release.
These acquisitions will help Daikin, in conjunction with AirReps, meet the commercial market’s need for integrated services, the company said. The combined capabilities these additions will offer Daikin’s variable refrigerant volume (VRV) and light commercial business include service capability, remote monitoring, and predictive maintenance programs.
“Both acquisitions will greatly enhance the capabilities of AirReps and will allow us to provide a more comprehensive array of services for our customers,” said Takayuki (Taka) Inoue, executive vice president and chief sales and marketing officer at Daikin Comfort Technologies.
