Cory Beach’s grandfather was an electrician with CSX Railroad. It took a while, but when he talked about how great the trades were, Cory finally listened.
At age 26, he joined the HVAC industry, which he calls the “best decision I have ever made.”
“The trades completely changed my life,” Beach said.
Beach has made quite an impression on the HVAC industry as well. He was promoted to operations manager within two year of being hired at Schneller Knochelmann. In addition, he has helped grow the maintenance agreement base to over 7,000 in a relatively short time
Where Beach has really shined is in converting lead turnovers of equipment that needs to be replaced. For the last two years, he has led the team to a consistent 80% turnover conversion, month after month. This is a jump from the 40% when he arrived on the job.
This has completely changed how the company budgets for replacement, service calls, demand conversions, average sales, and IAQ sales. This high consistent conversion has helped the company to enjoy a 40% growth.
“My goal is to help Schneller Knochelmann become the go-to service company in the tri-state area. Also, to help the business grow to $50 million in the next 4 years,” Beach said.
