Ryan McCrory followed in his father’s footsteps and has built a career in the manufacturing rep side of the HVAC business.
“My father, Tom McCrory, president of HVAC RepCo, has spent his career in the industry, working in sales leadership roles with companies like Siemens, Johnson Controls, and Honeywell,” McCrory said. “I joined the rep agency he founded after graduating with my bachelor’s degree from Bethel University in 2017.”
McCrory worked his way up in the company. He started as inside sales rep and is currently territory manager — with a story at outside sales rep in between.
Since joining the agency, he has earned many accolades. These include the 2017 rookie of the year award and top sales awards in both 2021 and 2022.
Calling on wholesale distributors, he has quickly grasped the importance of follow-up and follow-through while supporting his customers and internal teammates. Representing several technical product lines presented McCrory with a steep learning curve, and he has stepped up to the challenge.
He also has also taken on a leadership role in HVAC RepCo’s social media engagement and website search engine optimization (SEO) and marketing.
McCrory has lofty goals as he continues his HVAC career.
“I want to establish myself as a business resource, problem solver, and trusted advisor for my wholesale distributor customers while professionally representing our best in class manufacturer partners,” McCrory said. “I also have a commitment to continue learning.”
