Cristi Pedotto
Cristi Pedotto currently serves as portfolio leader of Ducted Outdoor Products for Trane’s Residential HVAC & Supply Business Unit.
Since her career began at Trane nearly 14 years ago, she has worked on both the business’ product engineering and management sides. Today, she leads the product management teams and champions strategy to develop new technologies and product initiatives at Trane.
Pedotto began her role at Trane in 2009 as a design engineer, working her way up to engineering manager. One of her notable contributions was leading the engineering design team in developing the TEM3 air handler. For this project, she received Trane's President's Award in 2013, an internal award recognizing achievement in growth and innovation.
As Pedotto progressed in her career, she became communications chair for the East Texas ASHRAE chapter.
She received her second Trane President's Award for her contributions to the operational response to the impact of Hurricane Michael at Trane Technologies' Lynn Haven, Florida facility. She led a swift response with the engineering team to support design management to allow for alternate parts suppliers when local suppliers were down due to impact from the storm, while also helping her peers in operations as they brought the facility and production back online.
“Looking ahead, aspirations I have for my career in HVAC include embracing challenges that lead to new roles and contributing to a more sustainable future,” Pedotto said. “I am thrilled to lead the charge to educate customers about sustainable solutions that can decrease their carbon footprint while also making their homes more comfortable and efficient.”
