Since joining the HVAC industry 15 years ago, Jessica Petruccio has been laser-focused in her efforts to serve her customers and uncover new opportunities for them. As national sales manager at Johnson Controls, Petruccio develops communications programs and initiatives to ensure her customers and her teams are mutually successful.
During the massive transition brought about by the 2023 Department of Energy efficiency regulations, she coordinated and launched an extensive program that made it possible for her teams to best support Johnson Controls customers and channel partners through the changes. The comprehensive program included a playbook, communication tools, and multiple events that ensured channel partners and contractors were educated about the changes and confident in their company’s transition plan.
The level of support Jessica provides both her teams and customers, as well as her investment in their collective success, relies on deep listening. Jessica makes a point of talking with each member of her team on a daily basis and acutely analyzes customer communications so she can best align customer goals with the objectives of Johnson Controls for collective growth.
“My career goals are to lead a team that continues to drive the mission of our company and our customer’s goal to be a force in the market with such a new brand,” she said. “I love to watch my team celebrate the successes they have with their customers — it never gets old.”
