LOMBARD, Ill. — Trinity Warranty Solutions, a provider of warranties in the HVACR, electrical, and plumbing industries, is offering scholarships for students who are studying to become HVAC or refrigeration technicians.

Trinity Warranty Solutions plans to award four $2,000 scholarships annually to students who are studying, or are planning to study, HVAC or refrigeration in a post-secondary program.

Scholarships will be awarded to eligible applicants based on financial need, academic merit, and interest in pursuing a career in HVAC or refrigeration. Trinity employees and children of employees are ineligible to apply.

In order to be eligible to apply, applicants:

• Must be enrolled in, or planning to enroll in, an HVAC or refrigeration program at an accredited trade school or college for the entire 2024-2025 academic year.

• Must be U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, or U.S. permanent residents based on the guidelines used by the U.S. Department of Education for federal financial aid eligibility.

• Must have a minimum GPA (grade-point average) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or equivalent, for their current year of schooling, or for the last year of school attended if not currently a student.

• Must be pursuing, or planning to pursue, an associate’s degree, certificate, or diploma in HVAC or refrigeration.

The deadline for applications is December 31, 2023. Scholarship winners will be notified in February 2024.
