OTTAWA, Ontario, Canada — Tommy Hulland of Carrier is the newest member of the board of directors at the Association for Smarter Homes & Buildings (ASHB).
Hulland is the associate director of strategic planning and market intelligence for residential and light commercial HVAC at Carrier, where he manages the forecasting, market intelligence, and strategy teams.
“As global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, Carrier is excited to collaborate with the Association for Smarter Homes & Buildings toward advancing technologies in homes and buildings,” said Hulland in a press release from ASHB. “I look forward to applying my industry experience as we work toward creating smart solutions that benefit people and our planet.”

ASHB, formerly the Continental Automated Buildings Association, or CABA, is an international not-for-profit industry association dedicated to the advancement of smarter homes and buildings. The organization is supported by a membership of more than 350 organizations involved in designing, manufacturing, installing, and retailing products relating to integrated home and building technology. Public organizations, including utilities and governments, are also members.
