HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Superior Boiler’s quality management system has been recertified as compliant with ISO 9001 international quality standards.

The company received its original ISO certification in 2020. American Systems Registrar (ASR), an independent, accredited U.S. certification body, performed Superior’s recent audit and authorized the certification.

“This is once again a major accomplishment for the entire Superior Boiler organization,” said Doug Wright, Superior’s president and CEO, in a press release. “We worked hard to achieve the first certification and have remained focused on continuous improvement since then. Our reward of this prized re-certification is a solid testament to the quality workmanship our employees put into their work. Quality control manager Erasto Landaverde, and before him Tim Zies, have done a superb job of improving our processes and pushing us to be better at what we do. We’re proud to be an ISO-certified manufacturer within the boiler industry.”

“Our primary focus as a company has been on continuous improvement, delivering high-quality products and being customer focused,” Landaverde said. “These are the characteristics Superior Boiler has long been known for. I’m thrilled with the buy-in our team members put into our quality programs and processes.”
