WALDWICK, N.J. — Armistead Mechanical Inc., a provider of mechanical construction, engineering, and contracting services throughout the New Jersey and New York area, has been recognized with a Platinum Safety Award from Highwire, a cloud-based mobile platform that aims to empower contracting companies to make smarter risk management decisions.
The award is for companies that earned safety scores of 95% or greater in the Highwire safety assessment program, a press release from Armistead said.
“We consider safety a vital part of our core culture, rather than merely a set of rules and guidelines,” said Kevin Armistead, president and CEO of Armistead Mechanical. “The safety and well-being of our employees, vendors, and customers is about far more than meeting regulatory standards. The insight provided by Highwire’s data-generation system helps us continuously hone and improve our policies and procedures, exemplifying our commitment to perpetual progress.”
Highwire’s safety assessment program reviews a company’s historic safety performance and current safety management systems. The program provides thorough, objective and consistent evaluation of company performance, allowing contracting industry companies to identify, monitor, and manage risk smarter, the press release said.
“Platinum status is not easily achieved, “ said Garrett Burke, CEO of Highwire. “Armistead Mechanical Inc. has demonstrated a remarkable commitment to implementing safety management systems resulting in exceptionally low incident rates.”
