EAGAN, Minn. — Mulcahy Co. Inc., a manufacturers’ representative serving the HVAC and plumbing industries, has opened a service office and storage facility in Grimes, Iowa.

Expanded operations in Iowa will further Mulcahy’s mission to deliver superior inventory, field service, and customer service throughout the Midwest, the company said in a press release. The manufacturers represented in Iowa will include industry leaders Lochinvar and Bell & Gossett, among 15 others. 

The move caps off a significant year of growth for Mulcahy, a year that saw the addition of 11 manufacturer lines, 13 new hires, a sixth consecutive Minnesota Top Workplaces award, and plans for an additional 24,000 square feet of inventory storage. 

“Mulcahy is honored to have the opportunity to provide HVAC equipment in central Iowa, and I am personally excited to return to my roots serving the Iowa marketplace,” said Rob Grady, president and CEO of Mulcahy. “With an amazing local team located out of our new Grimes location, along with our existing warehouse and technical experts in Eagan, we can’t wait to support Iowa’s hydronic needs.”

Mulcahy offers HVAC solutions for commercial and residential buildings and will celebrate its 95th anniversary this year.
