PRICE INCREASES

Carrier (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) announced price increases for North American residential, light commercial, and commercial applied products, effective March 4.

Heatcraft (Stone Mountain, Ga.) plans price increases of up to 4% on equipment, parts, extended compressor warranties, and extended service agreements, for orders placed on or after Feb. 20.

Trane Technologies (Davidson, N.C.) announced price increases ranging from 2% to 6%, on average, on select commercial HVAC controls and applied and unitary equipment.

 

ACQUISITIONS

Laars Heating Systems (Rochester, N.H.) acquired Electro Industries Inc. (Monticello, Minn.).

Carrier (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) completed the acquisition of Viessmann Climate Solutions (Allendorf, Germany).

 

RESIDENTIAL CONTRACTORS

Williams Comfort Air and Mr. Plumber (Indianapolis, Ind.) added residential electrical work to their rosters of home services.

Redwood Services (Memphis, Tenn.) invested in B&J Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning (Wilson, N.C.).

 

MANUFACTURERS

Hoshizaki America Inc. (Peachtree City, Ga.) promoted Allan Dziwoki to the position of president.

Fujitsu General America Inc. (Pine Brook, N.J.) named Tomokazu Hosoi as president.

Robertshaw Controls Co. (Itasca, Ill.) promoted Peter R. Greisinger to senior director of the Americas aftermarket channel and Shane R. Wiemers to senior manager of aftermarket channel sales.

Nibco Inc. (Elkhart, Ind.) promoted Chris Mason to senior vice president of supply chain.

Sauer Compressors Group (Kiel, Germany) appointed Nicole Fässler as CFO and Mladen Milcinovic as COO.
