Danfoss is seeking entries for its 15th annual EnVisioneer of the Year awards competition.
Launched in 2010, the awards recognize OEMs, building owners, municipalities, contractors, and end users in North America that have introduced a new product, opened a new facility, or invested in a system upgrade in the past 18 months and have used Danfoss products or solutions to realize significant energy savings or environmental benefits.
According to Danfoss, the competition is intended to promote innovation, energy efficiency, and environmental stability. It recognizes actions that: 1) reduce energy consumption, 2) reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, and 3) reduce oil consumption.
Interested parties can enter the competition by submitting a nomination by Friday, July 19. Applications will be reviewed and winners selected by a panel of third-party judges who represent various disciplines.
This year, the company will continue to present awards in multiple categories: Original Equipment Manufacturer, End User, Contractor, Consultant, System Integrator. Danfoss encourages entries from all segments, channels, and markets it serves.
Recent winners of the EnVisioneer of the Year program include Thermal Works, Weis Markets, Canal Marine and Industrial, Polar Engineering, Pro Refrigeration Inc., the Towson Courthouse in Maryland, and Sheridan College.
