TORONTO — Armstrong Fluid Technology marks its 90th anniversary, a milestone of longevity and innovation in the fluid-flow systems industry, this month.

Since its founding in Toronto, Canada, in 1934 by Samuel Allan Armstrong, the company has weathered the challenges of the Great Depression and expanded to become a leader in its field, a press release from Armstrong said. Today, Armstrong has a global reach, operating eight manufacturing facilities on four continents.

The year 1952 saw the company, under the leadership of James Allan Cary Armstrong, adopt a series of strategic initiatives that reshaped its operations and facilitated international growth, the press release said.

In a prepared statement, Charles Armstrong, the current chairman, underscored the company’s dedication to innovation, customer satisfaction, and environmental sustainability. “Innovation and a focus on customer experiences remain at the heart of what we do,” Armstrong said.

The company is also committed to sustainability and social responsibility, working toward reducing the carbon footprint of its operations and those of its customers, the press release said.

“We are proud of our contributions to sustainability and the positive impact our optimization focus has had through our work,” Armstrong added.

Armstrong has contributed to numerous iconic buildings and projects worldwide.

The anniversary was celebrated at Armstrong facilities around the world with events that reflected the diverse cultural traditions of its international teams, the company’s press release said.
