BREA, Calif. — CoolSys, a provider of refrigeration, HVAC, and energy solutions, has added to its executive leadership team with the appointment of Alan Johansen as CFO and Brady Bagwan as chief people officer.
In addition, CoolSys appointed John Harrison president of its commercial and industrial division.

Johansen will be responsible for driving financial strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives. He brings more than two decades of experience in financial leadership in diverse industries to his role, and has a background in financial planning, operational finance, and strategic decision-making, the CoolSys press release said. Johansen has a master’s degree in accountancy and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Brigham Young University.
Bagwan will lead human resources and support the growth and talent-development objectives of CoolSys. Bagwan has experience in human resources technology, change management, and building high-performance collaborative teams, the press release said. He has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Colorado–Boulder and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the Virginia Military Institute.
Harrison will lead the company’s commercial and industrial division with the goal of increasing growth and profitability. He has a track record of operational and commercial expertise, team-building, talent development, and fostering organic growth, the CoolSys press release said. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a focus on management and marketing, from the University of Massachusetts.
