SAN DIEGO — Workiz, a field-service management software company, was recently recognized as one of the fastest-growing private companies on the 2024 Inc. 5000 list. This is the third time Workiz has appeared on the list.
“This recognition reflects our real connection to over 120,000 field service pros who use Workiz, as well as the growth mindset that drives us,” said CEO Didi Azaria in a press release. “We’re proud to be recognized for our success, which is a direct result of our passion and dedication to innovation.”
The list provides a data-based look at the most successful companies in the economy’s most dynamic segment — independent, entrepreneurial businesses, the press release said. Microsoft, Meta, Chobani, Under Armour, Timberland, Oracle, Patagonia, and many other household-name brands gained their first national exposure as honorees on the list, formerly the Inc. 500.
The Inc. 5000 class of 2024 represents companies that have achieved rapid revenue growth while navigating inflationary pressure, the rising costs of capital, and hiring challenges, the press release said. Among this year’s top 500 companies, the average median three-year revenue growth rate was 1,637%. In all, this year’s Inc. 5000 companies have added 874,458 jobs to the economy over the past three years.
“To see all of the intriguing and surprising ways that companies are transforming sectors, from health care and AI (artificial intelligence) to apparel and pet food, is fascinating for me as a journalist and storyteller,” said Mike Hofman, who recently joined Inc. as the editor-in-chief. “Congratulations to this year’s honorees, as well, for growing their businesses fast despite the economic disruption we all faced over the past three years, from supply chain woes to inflation to changes in the workforce."
