COLUMBUS, Ohio — Rhea Cunningham, an attorney and business leader with decades of experience, is the new CFO at Five Star Home Services, which provides plumbing, HVAC and electrical services in the Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati, Ohio, areas.
“We now have the team in place that will take our company into the future,” said CEO Christian Rattin in a press release. “We are excited to welcome Rhea Cunningham as our new CFO, and we look forward to more good news in the near future as we continue to innovate and disrupt the market in the home services industry.”
Cunningham is a graduate of the Capital University Law School. She has a bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University and a master’s in business administration from Regis University. In 2020, she was named “Woman of Influence” by Columbus Business First. Additionally, Smart Business Magazine also recognized her in 2021 with its “Smart 50 Award.”
“A mutual business connection introduced me to Christian,” Cunningham said. “I saw everything Five Star is doing to make a positive impact in the communities we serve, and this felt like the right place to be. Essentially, I saw spaces I could occupy well within the company while enjoying the work.”
Cunningham has held important positions in finance, business consulting, and human resources while also working as an attorney and a CFO at other Central Ohio companies, the press release said.
