Greater Wisconsin Sheet Metal recently manufactured an advanced air scrubber system for a Southeast Asia facility operated by a U.S.-based engineering firm.
The air scrubber, crafted in Greater Wisconsin Sheet Metal's expansive 33,000-square-foot stainless steel production facility, is a marvel of engineering. Stretching 29 feet in length and boasting a 14-foot diameter, this system is designed with a singular focus: to purify process air by separating and removing particulate matter with high efficiency.
At the heart of the air scrubber lies a robust 100-HP electric motor. This powerful unit drives air into a cyclone, where a centrifugal force spins the air. Heavier particulate matter is seamlessly separated and expelled through the bottom of the cyclone, ensuring a cleaner air stream.
“We are thrilled to deliver another advanced air scrubber to our esteemed client,” said Chad Schumacher, shop foreman at Greater Wisconsin Sheet Metal. “Our team's expertise and dedication to quality are evident in every detail of this project. We look forward to continuing our partnership and building more of these innovative systems to meet the growing demand for superior air quality solutions worldwide.”
The air scrubber employs a sophisticated liquid-application process to further suppress dust and fine particles. This multi-stage approach ensures that more than 99% of particulate matter is removed from the air stream, resulting in exceptionally clean air that meets the most stringent environmental standards.
