AALBORG, Denmark — DSI Dantech, which provides thermal treatment solutions for the food industry, acquired GEA Group’s North American freezing business on October 1.
The move is a significant step in DSI’s partnership in North America with GEA for new freezer sales and aftermarket services, a press release from DSI Dantech said. GEA Group is based in Düsseldorf, Germany.
GSI chose DSI as a partner based on its commitment to quality, technological excellence, and customer service, the press release said. Following the acquisition of GEA’s IP for new machines in North America, DSI Dantech will manage and deliver new orders and integrate the relevant GEA employees into its global team.
