Getting enough people to work in the HVAC industry has been an issue for quite a while. At the same time, women have been greatly underrepresented in the HVAC industry. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, only 2% of the HVAC workforce is women.
How does the industry change that? One way is to have an association like Women in HVACR. Amy O’Grady, the executive director of Women in HVACR, stops by the podcast to let us know what else the industry can do to attract more female workers.
