ATLANTA — Joe Gallagher, senior manager of global procurement at Knowles Precision Devices, has joined the Electronic Components Industry Association (ECIA) global industry practices committee.
The committee works to identify common global problems and issues and organize subject-matter experts to research, provide guidance, and drive adoption of measures to increase efficiencies throughout the authorized global channel for electronic components.
“I am thrilled to welcome Joe to the GIPC,” said Don Elario, the ECIA’s vice president of industry practices, in a press release. “Joe’s background in operations from the component manufacturer side will be invaluable as we work to make the channel more efficient. I look forward to working with him in 2025.”
Gallagher’s main areas of focus include strategic supplier relationships, risk management, and driving value creation. He lives in Syracuse, New York, with his wife and two young children.
The ECIA is made up of electronic component manufacturers, their independent manufacturer representatives, and authorized distributors.
