MOUNT PROSPECT, Ill. — HVAC Excellence last month granted accreditation to five HVACR education programs, four in Indiana and one in New Jersey.

Accreditation certifies that a program is delivering high-quality, industry-relevant education that prepares students for successful careers in the rapidly evolving HVACR industry, a statement from HVAC Excellence said.

Accreditation was granted the programs at four of Indiana's Ivy Tech Community College campuses, those in Bloomington, Lafayette, South Bend, and Terre Haute. Accreditation was also granted to the program at the Lincoln Technical Institute campus in Union, New Jersey.

HVAC Excellence's accreditation standards cover a program comprehensively, including its mission, administration, finances, student services, instructional design, program elements, facilities, equipment, cooperative training, and instructor qualifications, HVAC Excellence said.
