LISLE, Ill — Synergy Solution Group has honored Controls Service and Engineering Co. Inc. (CSE) with the 2024 Sam DeAngelis Peer of the Year Award, presented at the recent 2024 Executives Forum, which was held in Fernandina Beach, Florida.
This award is given to the member company that best embodies Synergy’s core values, and is awarded in memory of Sam DeAngelis, a cherished member who exemplified those values through his unwavering support for others, a press release from Synergy said.
CSE has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to Synergy’s mission by actively participating in and contributing to the growth of the network. Over the past year, CSE has been represented at six of seven Synergy training sessions, participated in seven of 11 small peer groups, and contributed expertise in all five best-practices webinars, the press release said. The company's involvement goes beyond attendance; CSE consistently shares insights, presents innovative ideas, and works to uplift the entire Synergy community, the press release said.
One of the highlights of CSE’s dedication was its leadership at the Executives Forum, during which company president Ted Christiansen served as a mentor for the first time, the press release said. Christiansen not only shared the value his team has gained from the forum but expressed his commitment to giving back to others in the network.
“Knowing all of the amazing companies in Synergy, this is a great honor, but anyone who knew Sam will understand — it is the greatest honor we could receive in the HVAC industry to be the Sam DeAngelis Peer of the Year. We are proud to help keep his legacy going,” Christiansen said.
