TORONTO — Sean McGrann is the new chief commercial officer at refrigeration equipment manufacturer Due North.
With more than 20 years of leadership experience in the food retail and equipment industries, McGrann brings a results-driven, customer-focused approach to his new role, aligning with Due North’s mission to reimagine retail refrigeration, a press release from the company said.
Before joining Due North, McGrann led U.S. initiatives for Lowe Rental’s equipment-as-a-service model, Rental+, and held senior leadership roles at several companies, including as Dover Food Retail, KPS Global, and Anthony International.
“Sean’s appointment marks a significant step forward for Due North. His leadership will play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s commitment to delivering innovative solutions and unparalleled customer support,” said Troy Shannan, CEO of Due North. “As chief commercial officer, Sean will focus on driving growth, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring Due North continues to exceed industry expectations.”
With McGrann joining the team, Due North’s founder and former CEO, Julian Attree, will transition to the role of chief strategy officer. Attree will continue to contribute strategic insights, oversee special projects, and serve on the company’s board of directors, the press release said.
