ORLANDO, Fla. — Douglas Pang, chairman of Wolong Electric Group, and Michael Barry, chairman and CEO of Twin City Fan & Blower (TCF), recently signed a partnership agreement for green buildings that will employ highly efficient plenum motor/fan packages.
The agreement was signed during the AHR Expo in Orlando, Florida.
TCF electrically controlled plenum fans, driven by Wolong EMR-Bulldozer Series motors, are now available for a broad range of applications and markets, according to a press release from Wolong Electric America. They are floor- or shelf-mounted and feature 9- or 7-blade impellers for fan walls, air-handling units, computer room air handlers, air conditioning, rooftop units, industrial air-handling, and other applications. These efficient plenum fan packages are ideal for data centers, airports, skyscrapers, hospitals, hotels, universities, labs, factories, industrial sites, and more, the press release said.
Wolong EMR-Bulldozer Series ferrite-assisted synchronous reluctance motors (Fe-SynRMs) are now UL- and CSA-approved up to 50 HP for North America. Fe-SynRMs have outstanding power density, with proven strong reluctance torque and ultra-high-efficiency profiles for industrial-grade applications, the press release said. These models feature a top-integrated drive system for variable-speed loads at a wide operational range — from low- to high-rated speeds — and even an extended constant power control range above rated speed.
TCF is a designer and manufacturer of custom, semi-custom, and standard fans, ranging from heavy-duty industrial process fans to OEM fans to a comprehensive line of commercial supply and exhaust fans.
Wolong designs, manufactures, and sells high-efficiency motors, drives, and solutions for segments such HVAC, water and wastewater, the oil and gas industries, and electric vehicles.
