"Since the current facility opened in 1995, the Commercial Division of Munters has grown substantially," said Chuck Campbell, president of Munters Commercial Dehumidification Division. "This steady growth is requiring us to increase our manufacturing capacity to support current and future growth."
Humidity control equipment for commercial buildings such as schools, hospitals, indoor swimming pools, and restaurants is in high demand because humidity control is required for indoor air quality (IAQ) and occupancy health and comfort.
"The Humidity Control Unit, or HCU, gives our customers a cost effective means of keeping humidity in check to provide a healthier environment in commercial buildings," said Campbell.
Construction on the expansion has begun with completion targeted for late 2006.
